Sooo... As Ariel likes to travel around the world, it is natural that she'll end up in colder areas as well. This is something I would wear in arctic environment if I were her. (minus the clumsy cloak... it's there just for the looks :D)

The bottle in her hand is full of phosphoric fluid. It acts as a long-living light source.

About the outfit itself... Well... Layers! Lots of 'em. And waterproof, too. One important thing in winter clothing is that while snow itself is dry, snow that gets in your shoes, gloves or sleeves is not, as it melts. And wet clothes in sub-zero temperatures is worse than no clothes at all.

I don't know why but I think she needs a Luger pistol and a rifle.

So many shades of blue... *-* Love it!

I happen to be a blue maniac, I guess. The shading is superb, too.

Very bundled-up. I'm impressed by the realism in her outfit(As opposed to typical fantasy fare...). I would like to see a face-mask, though.

They are useful only when it's windy. Otherwise they just make breathing difficult.

You're saying it isn't windy?
I was thinking of a face-mask mostly for the aesthetic, though.

That´s nice!
The shoulder plates+sword resemble the ones from 'Claymore'-anime. Neat, cool cloth...!
