Sooo... it's shit.

I've been having problems with being happy with my work. It's starting to get a bit frustrating. Maybe I'm just learning... whatever.

I like his face. He looks miserable.
A little too monotone for my tastes. I know they're supposed to be glum, but you could add in a little more color to this, y'know?
But overall, nice concept.

No, I cant. I don't want to make it any more cyan or blue than it is. It'll end up looking too much like too many of my other pictures. It's supposed to be GRIMDARK.
I know what you're going for, but maybe a little brighter?
As it is, the details tend to blend into each other.

Common, i like it! Really!

Just three crits:
- The king is lacking a crown
- The queen has a... ugly face^^
- Mor lighting please! Maybe make the gem light red.

I think this is a wonderful concept, although your values could use some work. When you don’t get your values right pictures can tend to look flat. I have that same problem quite a bit. Try setting it to a gray scale and then transferring it to color with another layer. Another thing to try is to add some rim light to your characters. Just doing that would add a lot.

Those who hide their faults, and extol their virtues often Forget that humans remember and believe what we discover ourselves; while we dismiss and forget what has been handed to us.
Man, I'm having the same problem right now TAT Your fine though, since your work is awesome whatever you do. Seriously, you could draw a single line and it would be loved. If your always trying new things, then you can only rely on beginners luck to get it right the first time, and that's the frustrating part for some people.

I love the choice if colour here; it's really effective. The eyes are drawn to the sphere and the woman naturally because of that, so that's awesome~ It also overall creates quite a sombre mood - superb! :D
